A woman of
many hatsβ¦
If theres one thing about me, Iβm going to wonder and experiment. The interest in things outside of my own has allowed me to be promoted to amateur in many things like music composition, producing, baking, snowboarding, gardening, interior design and handywork, hair styling, and more. This experimentation has also transitioned into my career where I find myself wondering βwhat can I learn?β. In my initial professional life as a painter, I have become a graphic designer who also has experience in Web Design, UX/UI design, Motion Design, Package Design, and my newest skill, Strategic Planning. While working in a wide range of industries like healthcare, childrenβs school furniture, luxury goods, and sexual wellness.
Find me at the intersection of
Art and Science
(Listen to this while youβre reading my personal entry. π₯°)
I started off doing science and then in college I changed my major from physics and astronomy (double major) to Art. Most people ( especially my parents ) would see that as a drastic downgrade but I felt like it was a part of my evolution. Through my dealings with both art and science within my life, I saw them both as one and the same. They are the foundations of human behavior, knowledge and curiosity and they both involve experimentation, problem solving, inquiry and creation.
I see art within science and science within art and getting the chance to intimately study both, Iβve realized that both are within life. Which made me very interested in LIFE. I've always been naturally observant and a pretty good listener but getting involved with art has made me even more intrigued with the nature of human behavior and life itself. As I grow, I have maintained an interest in watching Snapped just to know what drives a person to behave in certain ways. I leave the house just to look at people and their interactions with others and wonder what the story is through their body language. I am passionate about 1:1 conversations with others because I think intimate moments bring out the original version of a person and I love to know what people think about. I take pictures of random moments in nature because it is something we are around everyday, yet things happen around us that will only ever happen ONE TIME. I like to capture nature and share it so people can see what I was able to see for only a second with my own eyes.
I love life, as in the biological processes. I love seeing how things interact. How people communicate with their pets. How people react and adapt to stimuli. How plants grow within their environment. It has kind of also kept me in check with how I want to interact more naturally with the world and be a good human from seeing the raw reality of how everything is directly affected by their environment. As a painter, graphic designer and strategist, I want to take these observations and tell a true story with them. I want to be able to accurately and authentically portray and communicate with the inhabitants of this world. I want to know how to make them really feel and I want to inspire them, the same way I am inspired. As an artist and human, I feel very much like I have tapped into a higher-but also very primitive science doing what I do and constantly learning.
